031 Stealth Heli and Microman Clark

Package

"Microman Clark & Cain"

Microman Magne Clark and Magne Cain had very interesting head designs and they were the only two Microman released by Takara so far to sport facial hairs!

"Chromed Weapons"

Takara included the original gun accessories from the Micro Change version. Chromed gun accessory was common parts for the New Microman and Diaclone line which was carried over to the early Transformers toys.

Exported Microman

Korean Magne Power Microman

Mange Powers Microman anime was exported to Korea between 2001-2002. Licensed version of various Magne Power toys were produced and sold in Korea. Korean version of Magne Power toys were nearly identical to the Japanese versions with only minor differences in some of the paint applications. Korean Microman toy came packaged in box instead of blister card.

Takara released Microman Cassette Machines 031 Stealth Heli and 032 Sonic Bike in April of 1999.  The two toys were part of the second wave of Magne Power line-up.  Both toys were actually retooled of old Microman Micro Change toys from 1980 New Microman series. 031 Stealth Heli was Micro Change MC9 Jet Heli and 032 Sonic Bike was MC8 Battle Bike.  The Stealth Heli was clear blue cassette tape that transformed into helicopter for Magne Power Microman.  The toy came with exclusive Magne Power Microman figure Microman Clark.  Clark was a dark brown color Microman with dark red trim.  He came with brand new head sculpt.  Beside the color change (the original version was solid red), Stealth Heli was essential the same toy as Jet Heli from New Microman series.  Takara even included the gun accessory that was included with Micro Change version.  Only items that got omitted were the head gear and the backpack.

032 Sonic Bike and Microman Cain

032 Sonic Bike was smoke clear cassette that can transformed into a bike for Magne Microman. The toy like, Stealth Heli, came with exclusive Microman Cain.  Cain was a clear blue Magne Power Microman with brand new head sculpt. Beside the color change (the original was solid black), Sonic Bike was essentially the same toy as Micro Change version. Takara included the gun accessory that was part of the original toy. The only two items that got omitted were the backpack and the helmet. The backpack was used in the original version as back support for Microman figure but was probably too high for the much shorter Magne Power figure. Which bring us to the only problem with reusing these two molds, the new figures were just way too small for the vehicles that were originally designed for the bigger original 10cm Microman figure. (They were made for Microman M011 Saram (Command 2 Microman). However, these two toys were some of the best toys from the Micro Change line-up and it was nice to see the toys get reissued even if it was for the new Microman line.
