Bandai released S.I.C. Vol.04 Hakaider in May of 1999 as the 4th volumes in the S.I.C. Kikaider 00 line.  Like Kikaider and Bijinder, the figure was very well crafted with excellent paint job but was more of a display statue than a true "action-figure". Hakaider came with several accessories including Professor Gills Flute (to torment Kikaider incomplete circuit), his Anti-Android Shotgun, two set of brains (Dr. Koyomji and Gills) and brain jar to hold the unused brain. His chest can be opened to reveal his inner mechanical structure and implanted his evil circuit "heart". Hakaider was built by Professor Gills to destroy Kikaider and constructed with the same technology as Kikaider but with evil circuitry. Hakaider had glass bowl that hold Dr. Koyomji brain or later Prof. Gills brain when he became Gills Hakaider) The figure was sculpted in a very cool dynamic pose but with very little articulations, however Hakaider was probably the best looking of the S.I.C. early figures (granted he was always has been a very cool design by Mr. Ishinomori) While the lack of articulation was something I always disliked about SIC line, I had to say this was one figure worth getting in spite of that. (Unless of course you can find S.I.C. Vol.12 which featured a slightly more poseable version of him along with his bike).  Hakaider was reissued in 2002 by Bandai USA as part of Studioworks line and can still be easily found at reasonable price (as of 2004). Bandai also released three other members of Hakaider Gang - Silver, Blue and Red Hakaider as part of Limited Versions S.I.C.
