Package

Microman Micro Robot 7 Gift Set was packaged in blue color box with painted artwork of 7-2-1 Formation Battle Suit. This style of package was common with most of the larger New Microman toys. By 1981, Takara had returned to using painted picture for box art and clear cellophane die-cut window to display the box content and toy colors.

Instruction & Sticker Sheet

7-2-1 Box set came with instruction sheet and several accessories such as fist missiles for Micro Robot 12, guns for each of the Micro Robot 7 members (each with individual unique design!). The toy lay out nicely inside the large box which feature cellophane windows to showcase the content.

Microman Pilot Included

Microman Micro Robot 7 Box set came with one of the most striking looking M004 Eiji. The version of the special box set was a black and white with chest sticker badge that pay homage to the early prototype of Microman Command series.

The two smaller "Walker" Sets, each also came with exclusive colors New Microman figure. 3-Walker came with orange and black version of M002 while the 4-Walker set came with blue version of M003.

Micro Robot 7 was the last of the new Micro Robot Series. Micro Robot series was a sub group of New Microman line consisted of small scale robots that can transform into vehicles or weapons for the New Microman. Micro Robot 7, like Micro Robot V, was a "combiner" type toy. As its name implied, Micro Robot "7" consisted of seven Micro Robots (R12-R18) that combined to form battle suit for Microman. The set was called 7-2-1 Formation because the toy can transform from 7 Micro Robots to 2 separate battle vehicles which then can also combine into 1 big battle suit. The box set was the largest and most expensive toy in the New Microman series. The set was not particularly rare and many "dead-stock" can often be found.

MICRO-ROBOT 7 - "3-WALKER" MODE

3-Walker consisted of R12-R14 and the tractor unit. In this formation it look somewhat like Robotman in his "walking" mode, especially with these chrome "claw" attachments.
