MICROMAN RYUKENDO!

Takara release several figures from Ryukendo TV show series as part of Microman Micro Action Series. (See sidebar) Ryukendo is a live-action (Tokusatsu) TV-show about Madan Knights that are chosen to protect the world from demon invasion.

RYUKENDO Z - MICROMAN VERSION

Ryukendo Z is a special exclusive figure sold with Ryukendo Z comic book compilation call Ryukendo Anthology Book. The comic (manga) is not retelling of the Ryukendo TV story but is actually a different story (although with many similarities and set up background). This version of Ryukendo is suppose to be base on the manga with a slight twist in that the figure is actually a Microman figure!  While Micro Action series are figures of various characters using Microman Full Action body, Ryukendo Z is actually not Micro Action but rather exclusive Microman version of Ryukendo. This figure is more akin to Microman Kicker figure that released with Anniversary Microman+Transformers set.  Ryukendo Microman, like Anniversary Kicker, come complete with chrome head, chrome backpack (that plug into 5mm port!) and chrome weapon.  The body also uses Microman trademark clear plastic body. The mold is the same as the one use for Micro Action Ryukendo releases back in March with sadly the same problem with bracelets that tend to fall off easily. However, the figure look really sharp with clear body and chrome head and should please most Microman fans looking to add interesting design to their core Microman collection. Frankly, I really wish Takara would do more "Microman Version" of various properties since they really add nicely to Microman line and give homage to the old tie-in line like Microman Geeg, Gakeen and the recent Microman Devilman from Replica series.

Ryukendo Z

Microman version of Madan Knight Ryukendo

Ryujino comes with his weapon in chrome. The gold part strangely got copper color instead, most likely another factory error.

Also include is the standard Microman Ryukendo hands set.

Both figures include a standard set of Microman Full Action Body hands.
