Microman Material Force used the same standard packaging for all the figures with only the stickers to distinguish them. The 2005 box was much simpler than the previous years. Microman Material Forces Series were sold exclusively at Toys R Us (Japan).

 

 

 

BLUE

Unfortunately TAKARA no longer provided background story for the Material Force figures.

Microman Material Force is essentially a blank mono-color version of their 30 Points Full Action Body that they introduced back in 2003. 

Microman Mer came with matching color hands set.

 

MICROMAN BLUE

TAKARA released the blue color Microman Material Force in March of 2005 as Microman Mer. Mer was the 9th Material Force Microman and the first Microman (male version of Material Force) to be release for the 2005 line-up. Mer was packaged in the new 2005 style box which is much simpler (i.e. cheaper) than the previous years. Mer has medium blue color which is lighter than Microman Turso but darker than Microlady Light Blue. (Is TAKARA anticipated Micro Superman?) With the last release of Microman Material Force (Microman Tristis - Cool Grey color), there was evidence of perhaps molds degradation but it seem TAKARA has addressed the issue with Mer and his joints were much better fit than Tristis.  The lack of background story for Mer was really unfortunate since the bio really help gave dimension to the very plain looking Microman.
